APT Solara and APT Ostara will set sail with seven world-class dining experiences, six unique onboard gourmet venues, as well as complimentary in-suite dining.
The Grüner Bar & Dining represents a world-first innovation in river cruising with a hydraulic system that raises this impressive venue from Deck 3 to the upper Sun Deck, resulting in panoramic, undisturbed 360-degree views once raised. The menu is focused on fresh, seasonal, hyper-local fare inspired by the regions APT sails through. Guests can relish a walk out to the Sun Deck before returning to the raised restaurant.
Bistro Saison is the main dining room on board, with interiors and a menu influenced by Europe’s classic neighbourhood bistros. The Owner’s Cellar offers a menu of courses designed to be shared. Flavours are complimented by wines from the exclusive cellar list. The Salon is the main lounge where guests can relax and savour simple, fresh, and healthy fare for breakfast and lunch, accompanied by barista-made coffee. Annie’s Table is a contemporary dining venue serving familiar favourites that echo a ‘kitchen table’ experience. Alfresco living comes to life on the Daystar Deck, which comprises the Conversation Pit, a bar serving fragrant cocktails and a rooftop barbeque serving Mediterranean-style fare for lunch.
David Cox, CEO of APT Travel Group, is thrilled to announce the innovative dining experience, saying “The whole venue lifts and becomes level with the Sun Deck and actually opens out onto the deck itself. Imagine when you have docked in Budapest, and that becomes the back venue. You can sit there at sunset and have one of your various specialty cocktails.”
With 14 nights on board the luxurious APT Solara and APT Ostara, the ever-popular 15-day Magnificent Europe is just one of the many itineraries to showcase APT’s brand-new luxury river ship fleet in 2025. Prices start at $6,295 NZD per person, twin share.
