Disneyland Resort has unveiled details for its 70th Anniversary celebration, set to begin May 16, 2025, along with a packed calendar of events and festivals for the year.
The milestone celebration will run through summer 2026, featuring limited-time entertainment, vibrant décor, special food and beverages, collectible merchandise, and more.
Highlights of the 70th Anniversary Celebration
- Entertainment Extravaganza: The fan-favorite “Paint the Night” parade returns to Disneyland Park, accompanied by the new nighttime spectacular “World of Color Happiness!” at Disney California Adventure Park, inspired by Walt Disney’s iconic opening day speech. The “Wondrous Journeys” fireworks show will also make a comeback, alongside the Pixar-themed parade “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!”.
- New Additions: A new character cavalcade, themed projections, and a custom anniversary theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” will further enhance the festivities.
- Elegant Décor: The resort will showcase celebratory decorations, including a medallion on Sleeping Beauty Castle and party-themed outfits for Mickey Mouse and friends.
