Intrepid Travel has announced the appointment of Yvette Thompson as General Manager Sales and Marketing ANZ, a newly created role reflecting the substantial growth of the ANZ region.
In her role, Yvette will draw on her 15 years of experience within the travel industry. Bringing a wealth of experience and strong relationships, in this role she will deliver the strategic oversight of the entire sales and marketing function for ANZ, including overseeing the industry and partnerships sector.
The creation of this new role further supports Intrepid’s 2030 Strategy, to double its global customer base to 600,000, achieve revenues of $1.3bn. The business also has plans to deepen its vertical integration to expand into areas outside of tours, including accommodation and publishing.

Yvette will commence her new role on 1 May and Intrepid is now on the hunt for her replacement role – a Head of Sales & Partnerships ANZ.
